Aligned by Design™ was created for women who are ready to stop fighting their bodies and begin understanding what they've been carrying—and why.

This isn't about becoming someone new.

It's about finding your way back to the person you've always been underneath the stress, the responsibilities, the expectations, and the survival patterns.

Your body isn't broken, it has adapted to protect you from the thoughts, feelings and emotions that were too unsafe to feel in the moment they were happening.

Over the last twenty years, I've noticed something.

Women don't come to me simply because their shoulders hurt.

They come carrying responsibilities.

Grief.

Loss.

Breast cancer.

Divorce.

Caregiving.

Perfectionism.

Burnout.

Years of putting everyone else first.

Their bodies adapted the only way they knew how.

They tightened.

They protected.

They survived.

I don't believe your body is working against you.

I believe it's been working incredibly hard to protect you.

Sometimes that protection looks like migraines.

Sometimes it's shallow breathing.

Sometimes it's digestive issues.

Sometimes it's anxiety.

Sometimes it's chronic tension that never seems to fully let go.

My work isn't about forcing your body to change.

It's about creating the conditions where your body feels safe enough to begin letting go.

 

Most approaches focus on the symptoms you feel.

Aligned by Design™ begins by asking a different question:

What has your body been carrying for all these years?

Your fascia—the connective tissue that surrounds and supports every muscle, organ, and joint—responds to how you move, heal, protect yourself, and experience stress over time.

When life asks you to keep going through grief, trauma, caregiving, illness, burnout, or years of putting everyone else first, your body often adapts by becoming more guarded and protective.

Muscles stay tense.

Breathing becomes shallow.

Your nervous system can remain on high alert, even long after the original stress has passed.

That's why lasting change often requires more than simply treating where it hurts.

This work is about helping your body shift out of protection and into a place where it can rest, recover, and reconnect.

I know this work personally.

I've spent much of my life learning what it means to survive.

Breast cancer at 26. Surgeries, chemo, radiation and so many questions. 

Raising two children while navigating fear, loss, and healing.

Building a business over the last twenty years while learning that strength isn't the same thing as feeling safe in your own body.

Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn't just helping women feel better.

I was helping them come home to themselves.

That's why I created Aligned by Design™.

Not as another treatment.

But as an experience that helps women understand their bodies with compassion, reconnect with themselves, and begin living with more ease instead of constantly operating in survival mode.

I learned along the way that my body wasn’t asking me to “fight harder”, it was simply asking me to listen.

The Method

 The Six Sessions

Sessions are scheduled every other week. Your body needs time between them to integrate what's shifting. This isn't a quick fix, and it isn't meant to be.

Phase One: Breaking Through the Armor

Session 1 — The Map + First Contact
We uncover your body's story, identify your patterns, begin bodywork, and create your personalized roadmap.

Session 2 — The Body Begins to Trust
We continue releasing long-held tension while introducing simple practices that help your nervous system feel safe between sessions.

Session 3 — The Shift
This is often where women begin noticing meaningful changes—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally as their bodies begin responding differently.

 

 

Phase Two: Repatterning & Reconnection

Session 4 — Solidifying the Softness
Instead of returning to old protective patterns, we reinforce the body's new experience of ease and support.

Session 5 — The Patterns Beneath the Patterns
We explore what's still showing up, refine your bodywork, and deepen your understanding of the habits your body has carried for years.

Session 6 — Reclamation
We celebrate how far you've come, create your long-term plan, and give you the tools to continue supporting yourself long after our final session.

Your Aligned by Design™ Experience

Over approximately 12 weeks, we'll work together through six personalized, in-person sessions at Spa Therapy in Dothan.

Each session builds on the last, giving us the opportunity to listen, evaluate, adapt, and respond to what your body needs that day. This isn't a series of identical appointments. It's a guided process that evolves as you do.

✔ Six personalized sessions, thoughtfully designed to build on one another over approximately 12 weeks

​

✔ An in-depth initial assessment to understand your health history, lifestyle, movement patterns, goals, and the areas your body has been protecting

​

✔ Therapeutic bodywork tailored to your needs each visit, incorporating myofascial techniques, trigger point therapy, and AcuPen when appropriate

​

✔ Time for meaningful conversation, education, and guidance throughout the program—not just hands-on work

​

✔ Nervous system support, breathwork, and simple practices you can use between sessions

​

✔ Personalized recommendations for stretches, self-care tools, and home support based on your progress

​

✔ A comprehensive final integration session, including your personalized plan for maintaining the progress you've made

 

✔ Email support between sessions if questions come up along the way

What Happens Next

Because Aligned by Design™ is a highly personalized experience, I intentionally work with only a small number of women at one time. This allows me to thoughtfully prepare for each session, review your progress between visits, and give you the individualized care this experience was designed to provide.

Once your application has been submitted, I'll personally review your questionnaire and send you a confirmation that I've received it. I'll take time to thoughtfully determine whether Aligned by Design™ is the right fit for your goals, your needs, and what you're hoping to achieve through this experience.

3. Schedule Your First Session

If we're a good fit to move forward together, I'll personally reach out to schedule your first appointment and guide you through the next steps.
